No. Eye and ear protection can be rented at check-in, or you may bring your own.
No. You may bring your own targets or purchase them at the range counter.
Minors ages 7–14 may only shoot .22 caliber rifles. Minors 15 and older may shoot any caliber. All minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
You MUST be at least 21 years old to rent a firearm. Those 18 and older may rent a lane if they bring their own firearm and ammunition.
We recommend clothing that covers the neck, feet, and legs. We do not recommend low-cut tops, open-toe shoes/sandals, or shorts.
We require all persons on the range to have a valid legal ID, which will be held while customers are shooting.

No. Holster draws are prohibited for insurance and safety liability reasons.
You do not need a Concealed Weapons License (CWL) to transport a firearm in your vehicle in Florida. We recommend keeping it in a case or bag when transporting. Our policy requires firearms to be in a case or bag while inside the store. Please do not carry an unholstered firearm in plain sight inside the store.
Yes, as long as caliber requirements are met. All range fees apply.

Yes, open carry is permitted in the store. ALL FIREARMS MUST REMAIN HOLSTERED AT ALL TIMES. Open carry for long guns and rifles is NOT permitted. Long guns must be in a rifle bag.
TRAINING RELATED
Yes, provided you notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Last-minute cancellations and no-shows will not receive credit for rescheduling and will need to repurchase the class.
No, we do not offer refunds — only credit that can be applied toward rescheduling or a training product.
Yes, we offer private instruction. The Alamo also has a wide selection of classes through our Training Academy.

Yes, Florida issues permits to both residents and non-residents.
No, we no longer have a guest instructor program. Only our own instructors — or guest instructors invited by the company for special classes — are permitted to teach at The Alamo.
We do not offer women-exclusive classes; however, we host a free monthly ladies seminar called Florida Gun Girls, and the organization A GIRL & A GUN holds a monthly practice session at our facility. For more information, see our TRAINING MENU.

Without a CWL, the waiting period is 3 BUSINESS DAYS for any purchased firearm. Customers in Palm Beach, Miami-Dade, and Broward counties wait 5 business days. With a CWL there is no waiting period — you may take possession immediately after purchase and background check approval.

As required by law, 30 days from the date we purchased the firearm. Your sales consultant will inform you of the date you may take delivery.

At Naples, Sebring, and Venice Alamo venues, transfers from private individuals are not accepted — only from licensed FFL dealers. Cocoa and Jensen Beach accept private-party transfers with required sender identification. See FFL Transfers for full policy.

All transfer fees include the $5.00 FDLE background check fee.

No. The firearm must be in The Alamo's possession before you complete any paperwork. The ATF Form 4473 must be completed in person by the actual transferee/buyer.
JENSEN BEACH — TREASURE COAST
$50.00 for non-members and $25.00 for range members per Title 1 firearm. Class 3/NFA items are $125.00 non-member / $75.00 member. SilencerShop Class 3 purchases have no transfer fee.
8 lanes at 25 yards and 8 lanes at 20 yards. Open to the public Tuesday through Sunday.
All pistol calibers and rifle calibers up to and including .308 Winchester. Rental firearms may only use ammunition purchased at the store on the day of rental.
Children 10 and older are allowed with a legal guardian. Anyone under 18 must have a guardian present.
Lane reservations are not available at this time. Members receive priority lane placement.
Yes. The store trades and buys used firearms from individuals. Consignment is not offered.
